Congratulations to Dominic on "ringing the bell" to signify that he's completed his round of 33 treatments! #prayfordominic ... See MoreSee Less

#33 is DONE!!! This round of treatment is FINISHED!!!!! So proud of my sweet Domi! He's been so brave, not complaining about anything. He just would lay on that hard metal table, with his head bolted to the table, so tight his eyelashes stuck out through the little holes in his mask. He just did it, no trying to get out of it, he just did it. He's 8 years old. He's amazing. I love him so much it hurts. Soooo happy we don't have to go down to the hospital every night! Excited to go celebrate tomorrow at Chambers 19!! I will post the picture in the comments of tonight's group! Grandma, Grandpa, and Pop Pop were all there! So we're our good friends Tara and Logan! Daddy and Ciarlo came as well! We also had a very special guest, Taylor Washington from the Philadelphia Union came to cheer Dominic on!! He came and visited with us the whole night! Taylor gifted Dominic the special hat that he was given when he got drafted by the Union! Such a thoughtful gift and man! We will be cheering him on at a Union game as soon as we get a chance!! We celebrated with delicious treats from Phoebe Kuttab Wurst! Thanks so much for the Wild kratts cake and cupcakes! Even though we are beyond happy that this round is finished, it's a little bittersweet. We have grown to care so much about Dominic's wonderful radiation therapists, Ro(Yo Yo), Sam, Dustin and Tim. They were so great with him. Sam even wore a matching shirt with him tonight! They mostly treat adults, but the time and care they took with Dominic was so sweet. We will be sure to visit them whenever we have appointments in their neck of the woods! Between them and our wonderful team of child life staff, this experience went as well as it could've. Praying that this radiation and chemo has made a positive impact in kicking the cancer out of his body!!! He will have an MRI on June 23rd. And Chemo will begin again 5 weeks from today. The day before Chemo begins again, there will be a big, family friendly, benefit at Havana Restaurant & Bar! For info click here m.facebook.com/events/1337330292949824/ For now we can rest and enjoy time together as a family. Please pray for us, pray that Dominic has enough energy to enjoy the time he has off to recover from radiation. #PrayForDominic Hope to see lots of friends tomorrow night! Check the website for new things!
