Meet the Aponte Family from Philadelphia.

Tania’s son Kasyn was born with a rare congenital heart disease that required 3 open heart surgeries. He has been inpatient for 10 months with just a few days at home. During this time at the hospital there were many nights where the family feared he wouldn’t make it.

When Kasyn is doing well, Tania has been able to work, which has only been 3 months before he became ill again, needed a 3rd surgery, with talks of a 4th.
