JOHN D. SCHILLING II MEMORILA FUND FOR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES
The John D. Schilling II Memorial Fund for Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), helps to support families who are struggling to make ends meet, due to the therapy, hospital bills and other expenses associated with caring for a TBI victim.
Homers for Hope pays the everyday household bills for families like this. They will not have to worry about keeping a roof over their head, hot water, electric, food, etc. Homers for Hope is 100% volunteer driven and our business sponsors help pay the associated costs of running our organization, so 100% of your donation to this page will go to our mission of helping families.
John D. Schilling II, or simply “Schill”, was an absolutely incredible human being who left us on 9-14-18 at the age of 41. If anyone in our organization was all heart, it was him. He LOVED baseball. He was always ready to play for our Men’s Blue Baseball Team, he was a founding member of the Red Baseball team, and religiously volunteered to shag fly balls in our home run derbies.
He was a passionate advocate, always telling people about what we do, wearing his Homers gear, gaining followers and new donors. He would always give, and get his boss to sponsor our events. He was an all-around perfect member of the organization.
He was an even more amazing friend- always there when you needed him, hysterically funny, and totally able to laugh at himself. John was a wonderful person, and he will be deeply and unquestionably missed by many. He helped SO many people in life and now, through this fund, his mission will continue.
Please consider giving to this page, or consider fundraising along with us, so that families with TBI can recover faster.
