Homers For Hope

Today we remember our teammate, friend, and brother Rip Roscioli. Rip was the inspiration for Homers for Hope when he tragically left this world at the age of 30, leaving behind his wife and 9 year old son who has a medical condition. Rip loved baseball. Both playing and coaching the younger guys. Rip was always there for his friends and frequently put others ahead of himself. At his family’s greatest time of need a group of Rip’s baseball brothers organized our own makeshift sandlot home run derby fundraiser to help.

Since that day we’ve been able to help more than 30 families over 10 years, by paying more than $250,000 of their bills to help them get through their most difficult days. So to every volunteer, donor, sponsor, player, or supporter - please know that you are helping to carry on Rip’s legacy of helping those in need when they need it the most.
