MEET THE COLUCCI FAMILY
Nick, his beautiful wife Rochelle, and their children – 10 year old Nicholas and 6 year old Sophia, are just like any normal family. Nick plays in the URSL softball league and is a salesman for Vector Security, and Rochelle worked as a book keeper for several small businesses. Nicholas hopes to someday be a player in the NBA because, as he says “I’m a savage!”, and Sophia hopes to someday be “a teacher and a mommy”.
Everything changed for them last year when Rochelle was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Homers for Hope helped them in their time of need, paying for a few of their everyday household bills while Rochelle went through radiation and chemo treatments. In 2016 the cancer returned and is now in Rochelle’s pelvis and spine. Several surgeries are needed in addition to more radiation.
Homers for Hope was able to pay for: 3 medical bills, 4 months of mortgage payments, 1 cell phone bill, 1 gas bill, 3 months of cable, 7 car payments, 7 electric bills, and partial payment for a chair lift for Rochelle.
